I needed a new latch and drain plug for my old Engel cooler, and I didn’t want to buy a whole new cooler over a couple small parts. I figured it was worth checking first, and I was glad to see they still had the parts listed. Ordering was straightforward. Shipping took a little longer than I was hoping, but it wasn’t anything unreasonable. The parts fit like they should and got my cooler back in working shape, so I feel like it was the right call. I’d give it 5 stars if the part pages had better photos, just so you could be a little more confident before ordering.

I looked into Engel after hearing a few people I know speak highly of their coolers and dry boxes. I appreciated that their site was easy to browse, and everything I saw gave me the impression that the products are made to hold up well over time.

I’m grateful when a brand makes it easy to feel confident before buying, and Engel seems to do that. I haven’t come across much negative feedback, which is refreshing these days. They’re not the cheapest option, but it does seem like you’re paying for dependable quality.

I’ve been using it in my van it’s way quieter than I expected. I barely notice it running at night, which is a huge plus. Maybe I’m just sensitive to noise, but I feel like that’s impressive, right?

The seal works really well and keeps everything nice and tight!! The latches feel strong too, though they were a little stiff at first. Not a big deal at all, and overall I’m really happy with it!!

They probably do the job fine. Like, as coolers, they seem okay. But the look... yeah, not really for me. Kind of bulky. Kind of dated. Just has that old-school vibe, and it doesn’t really fit my style.

Not gonna lie, the temperature control has been frustrating. The set temp never seems to match the actual temp, which gets annoying when you’re trying to use it on trips

I bought this Engel cooler for weekend camping trips, the ice retention has been really impressive. I packed it on Friday morning and still had solid ice by Sunday night, even though we were opening it often. It’s a big upgrade from my old cooler. Got this Engel cooler for road trips, and the power setup is what sold me. It runs off the 12v in my truck, then I can just plug it into the wall when I’m back home, no messing with random adapters or anything. Haven’t had any weird issues so far. I picked up the Engel cooler for beach days and a few shorter camping trips, mostly just needed something I could haul around without it being a whole thing. So far it’s been easy to move, and the handles feel sturdy, which was one of the things I cared about. It’s definitely not super light once it’s packed, but I mean, that’s kind of expected. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is I really wish this size came with wheels. For longer walks, like from the car to wherever we ended up setting up, that would’ve helped a lot. Still, it fits in the car fine and it’s not too awkward if two people carry it, so overall I’m happy with it

My first impression of Engelcoolers.com wasn’t great. I was hoping to find a wider range of coolers and outdoor gear, but the selection felt limited in a few spots. I was looking for more size and color options, and a few things either seemed out of stock or just missing altogether. The site itself is easy enough to get around, so that part was fine, but I left feeling a little disappointed. Not terrible, just wish there was more variety to choose from
